Snapchat did not fix the problem
As of this writing, Snapchat hasn’t fixed the issues. However, they are aware of the problem.
The official Snapchat Support Twitter page responds to tweets about the crashes with the message, “Hey can you please DM us so we can try to help you out?”
This appears to be an error on Snapchat’s part and there is nothing wrong with your WiFi or your phone, Snapchat’s servers just seem to be down.

Five possible solutions
As with all Snapchat issues, there’s no magic bullet to get your app working again, but here are a few things that might help…
- Close the app and open it again.
First, try closing your app completely. On an iPhone, do this by swiping up on your home page.
Some users reported that logging out of the app and then logging back in fixed their Snapchat.
It’s the oldest trick in the book, and sometimes all you have to do is turn your phone off and on again.
You can also try deleting your app and then downloading it again from the App Store.
Clearing all your stored Snapchat data could be the key to fixing your app. To do this, go to Profile > Settings > Account Actions > Clear Cache.
If none of that works, close the app and try reopening it in a few hours when the problem should be fixed.
