Visa invites startups in Asia-Pacific to develop next-generation digital payment capabilities
SINGAPORE, Nov. 3, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Visa, the world’s leading digital payments company, seeks startups from everywhere Asia Pacific to join the second cohort of their acceleration program. The Visa Accelerator program aims to help startups in Asia Pacific expand their business into new markets with a strong emphasis on identifying business opportunities for startups to collaborate with Visa and its extensive network of banking, merchant and government partners in the region.

Simplify and expand the movement of money between consumers, businesses and governments to enable new ways to pay and get paid, nationally and internationally
Providing new innovative payment methods such as digital currencies through the development and adoption of blockchain
Leverage the open data environment to facilitate advanced decision-making and scoring capabilities in the areas of digital identity, consent management, credit scoring as well as risk and credit management. fraud
Deliver differentiated and personalized shopping experiences through new credit models, buy now pay later and loyalty solutions

Help startups develop their business
Visa introduced the acceleration program in Asia Pacific in december 2020. Startups in the first cohort include Brankas, a fintech that provides software and financial solutions; Curlec, a subscription management platform that facilitates recurring payments and disbursements; DigitSecure, an omnichannel acceptance platform; ModusBox, an open source platform for real-time payments and Open, a neo-banking platform for small businesses. The startups concluded their business with a product showcase to hundreds of Visa customers and partners across the region.

Open applications November 3, 2021 and close January 9, 2022, the program starting with mid-April 2022.
