Following the success of its 2021 program, the Richmond, Virginia-based software consultancy Covintus launches two cohorts of technology accelerators in 2022.

Covintus, founded in 2010, offers consulting services to technology startups, particularly in the software, UX and UI spaces. His 10-week program, called the Technical tank accelerator, will begin on January 25 and will focus on the technical aspects of launching a startup. Selected candidates will participate in sessions including information on technological entrepreneurship training, technology audit, optimization of relationships with partners and maximization of valuation.

A statement from Covintus said it was looking for candidates in the startup space with a technology or software product, founders, and goal-oriented companies in both start-up and growth stages. Before the deadline, applicants will be able to attend an information session on December 3. In addition to the winter session, it will offer a summer session, with 20 places open in total. The 2022 cohort follows on from its inaugural cohort, launched in April, where it welcomed five founders from across the United States.

Each founder selected will receive $ 5,000 in what Covintus calls Corresponding credits, which can be transferred to its consulting services. The winter session will end with a pitch competition, in which the winner will receive an additional $ 25,000 in matching credits and $ 10,000 for the finalist.

The cohort is part of a global goal to donate $ 1 million to startup founders. So far, it has awarded $ 85,000 in benefits to participating founders. In 2021, the founders of the cohort included DCs All bets, a sports betting application and Richmond’s Nessle, an online directory for virtual learning in the parental space.

“The founders who completed our summer 2021 cohort have left more informed about their technology products and more connected to the resources they need to grow,” said Logan ryan, manager of Covintus and coordinator of Tech Tank, in a press release. “We encourage any founder with a well-developed idea and a scalable product to apply to Covintus Tech Tank. “

Applications will be accepted until December 10.
