In keeping with the digital nature of the Startup Awards event, Stellantis senior executives, including Chief Technology Officer Ned Curic, presented each of the finalists with a personalized Non-Fungible Token (NFT) trophy. Created by design studio Stellantis, the NFT is an artistic interpretation of intertwined hands, expressing the concept that in turbulent times, ideas prevail.
The other projects awarded at the Stellantis Startup Awards 2022 are
– Customer Experience – Developed by HAAS Alert in the USA, the Emergency Vehicle Alert System is on a mission to get everyone to their destination safely and help avoid distracted driving by alerting nearby emergency vehicle drivers and real-time hazards. Stellantis currently offers the technology on a limited number of Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram vehicles.
– Quality – Applied in Turkey, Daxium’s digitization of a vehicle pre-delivery inspection checklist and dashboard helps Stellantis improve its control process, as well as ensure that the quality and delivery of its imported vehicles to the end customer meet the highest standards. The project will soon be extended to Morocco, Egypt, Israel and Europe.
– New Business – Deployed in France on the electrified Citroën Ami, DS E-TENSE and Peugeot 308 plug-in hybrid models, and in Italy on the 100% electric Citroën Ami and Fiat New 500, the solution developed by the startup Demooz turns current owners from vehicles to ambassadors, connecting them with potential customers to facilitate word-of-mouth discovery, access and testing of Stellantis products.
– Automotive Tech – British startup Envisics provides better and faster driving information through a next-generation head-up display that uses augmented reality and high-quality holographic technology. This innovative feature will be offered on Stellantis’ next-generation premium and luxury vehicles.
-Industry 4.0 – Applied inside the Stellantis factory in Betim, Brazil, the solution created by Phygitall uses smart watches to analyze the pattern and intensity of hand movements in order to optimize the manufacturing process , increasing safety, quality and efficiency.
– Supply Chain – Developed in Argentina and Brazil by JettaCargo, the software uses artificial intelligence to simulate the optimal loading of goods onto trucks and containers. It is currently automating Stellantis’ ground transportation planning and composition, reducing the impact of CO2 emissions and the distribution of goods during transportation, while improving logistics and increasing cargo security.
