How to Filter Search Results in Maps on Apple iPhone

Apple has its own Maps app which is preinstalled on Apple devices. Initially, the app was heavily criticized for inaccurate details, but the company has been actively working on improving it.
In the latest iOS 15, Apple added new features to improve search results in its Maps app. The company also added the ability to filter results by options for a particular type of results.
In this step-by-step guide, we’ll show you how to filter search results in the Maps app on your Apple device.
How to filter search results in Apple Maps
Step 1: Open the Maps app on your iPhone and navigate to view the location you want to search for.
2nd step: In the “Find Nearby” section, select the category you want to search for.
Step 3: If you select “Restaurant” you will see a map for it. You must then select the kitchen filter button.
Step 4: You can now tap on the type of cuisine you want to include in your search results. You can select as many cuisines as you want.
Step 5: Once the selection is complete, click on the “Apply” button and you will see the search results matching the criteria you applied.
While it’s quick and easy to find details about your specific needs, note that the feature is not available for all search types in the Filter Nearby section. We hope Apple will continue to expand to more types of filters, but as of yet, there is no information on the company’s future plan for this feature.
