Digital Fitness Coaching Service – Future – Raises $75M in Series C Funding | national news

SAN FRANCISCO, February 3, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Futurethe service that democratizes digital fitness coaching, today announced that it has raised $75 million in Series C funding, bringing its total funding to date to more than $110 million.
The round was led by SC.Holdings and Trustbridge Partners, with participation from the existing investor Kleiner Perkins; award-winning actress and co-founder of Fabletics Kate Hudson; actor and podcast host Oliver Hudson; five-time Pro Bowler JJ Watt; four-time major golf champion Rory McIlroy and Symphony Ventures; Kevin Durant and by Rich Kleinman thirty-five companies; Optum Ventures; Effort; and Harris Blitzer Entertainment, owner of the philadelphia cream 76ers and New Jersey Devils.
This new funding round will allow Future to accelerate its marketing and product development efforts, expand into other health coaching categories and surpass $100 million ARR by early 2023. Future will continue to grow its team of full-time fitness trainers, which is one of the largest of its kind in the world, with the majority of trainers having previously trained professional athletes or Olympians. Uniquely, Future members have unlimited access to their coach, exchanging an average of four text messages per day – 1,500 per year. This constant support and guidance has helped Future earn a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 90, best in class.
As part of the funding round, Future also announced that it would partner with investors Kate and Oliver Hudson – who created and hosted the Sibling Revelry podcast – to produce, co-host and distribute a six-episode series for Future on major podcast platforms. Future, Kate and Oliver will act as producers of the podcast.

Future was co-founded by Google and a NASA alumnus Rishi Mandaland former Apple engineer justin santamariawho led engineering on FaceTime and iMessage.
